A: An elopement does not just have to be two people. You can still have an intimate elopement experience with your closest family & friends there. Make sure you choose people who are there to celebrate the two of you & understand why you are choosing to elope.

Have your family/friends there for only certain parts of the day : The getting ready portion, just the ceremony, only the reception, a celebratory meal & more!
Heck, have TWO weddings! Elope just the two of you, throw a celebration/reception on a later date. Play a photo slideshow of your elopement or your wedding video for all your family & friends.
If you are eloping just the two of you - have your close family/friends write letters for you to read the day of.
